Lacrosse success = accuracy + power. Shooting harder doesn’t matter if you miss the cage, and being accurate doesn’t help if your shot is too weak. Here’s how to train both.
Accuracy Drills
Target Wall Ball – Tape squares or circles on the wall, hit specific spots.
Bucket Challenge – Place a bucket 10–15 feet away, try to land passes inside.
Moving Targets – Partner moves stick/head as a target, you must adjust quickly.
Power Drills
Step-Through Throws – Exaggerate hip rotation + step to generate torque.
Resistance Band Throws – Anchor band, mimic throwing motion for added resistance.
Overload Training – Use slightly heavier stick/weighted shaft in practice, switch back to normal for speed.
Combined Drills
Accuracy Under Pressure – Shoot at small targets after sprints.
Timed Rep Challenges – 100 reps in 5 minutes, maintaining both speed and accuracy.
Reppit App Integration – Track throw types, wrist snap, and progress logs for instant feedback.
Accuracy + power isn’t built overnight — it’s built rep by rep. With the right drills and tracking, you’ll see results faster and dominate on the field.
